The Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico offers a variety of activities, events, and galleries, important to the art community. It also relies upon a library and a university enterprise.

Social and Cultural Activities

The Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico offers a varied program of concerts, lectures, film, video, and theater. These activities complement the students’ academic training. During the Achievements Evening, students in the Honor Roll are recognized and awarded. As part of the festivity, the Annual Student Exhibition opens that evening.

Gallery and Exhibitions

The Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico has an Exhibition Hall dedicated to students’ work. The exhibition program is coordinated to provide an opportunity for all students from all Majors to exhibit their work. In addition, the School organizes group shows in other teaching centers, as well as in galleries of different public and private entities. It stimulates and helps students to hold individual exhibitions.

La Biblioteca Francisco Oller de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico tiene como objetivo primordial el proveer material educativo que sirva de apoyo a los programas curriculares que ofrece la Escuela. Design Center »

The Design Center is a university enterprise created to provide professional design services with the participation of faculty and students enrolled in the academic program. It provides design and production services to individuals, public agencies and private companies who wish to benefit from the artistic talent of our faculty and students. The Design Center enriches students’ professional education through practical work experience in design and production, thereby linking academic activity to the community’s practical challenges.
